BRAKE PRESSURE GAGE AND RELATED PARTS REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 4)

Repeat step 2 for nut at master cylinder end of
tube assembly (C). Install plastic cap on
reducer.

Using 3/4 inch wrench on base of gage (A) and
13/16 inch wrench to hold reducer (B), remove
gage.
5.
Remove flat washer (D) and reducer (B).
6.
Using 7/16, inch wrench on nut (E) and socket
on screw (F), remove nut (E), screw (F), and
lockwasher (G), Throw lockwasher away.
7.
Remove caution plate (H) and clamp (J).
8.
Remove tube assembly (C).
9.
Using socket, remove screw (K), lockwasher (L), and bracket (M). Throw lockwasher away.
10. Inspect all threaded parts for damage. Replace as necessary.
11. Inspect nuts of tube assembly (C) for cracks. Replace tube assembly if damage is found.
