10. MODIFICATION PROCEDURES
a. Equipment Conditions
(1) Vehicle parked on a level surface (TM 9-2350-372-10)
(2) Parking brake set (TM 9-2350-372-10)
(3) MASTER switch set to OFF (TM 9-2350-372-10)
(4) Battery ground leads disconnected (TM 9-2350-372-10)
(5) Rear doors opened and secured (TM 9-2350-372-10)
(6) Rear platform and step deployed (TM 9-2350-372-10)
b. Disassembly
(1) Remove three screws (Figure 2, Item 10), six flat washers (Figure 2, Item 3), three lockwashers
(Figure 2, Item 2), three nuts (Figure 2, Item 1), and M43 NBC alarm detector mounting bracket
(Figure 2, Item 5) from horizontal support (Figure 2, Item 4). Set hardware aside for disposition per
(2) Remove four screws (Figure 2, Item 6), four flat washers (Figure 2, Item 7), four lockwashers
(Figure 2, Item 8), and four nuts (Figure 2, Item 9) from M43 Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical
(NBC) alarm detector mounting bracket (Figure 2, Item 5). Set hardware and mounting bracket aside
for disposition per paragraph 8.
