TOOLS: 1 in. combination box and open end wrench

Remove base assembly from master control panel (page 10-52)
PRELIMINARY
PROCEDURE:
DISASSEMBLY:
NOTE
If nut is difficult to remove, use
pliers to hold base assembly.
Using wrench, remove bond nut (A) and

lockwasher (B) from lampholder (C). Throw
lockwasher away.
Remove retaining strap (D) and preformed

packing (E) from lampholder (C).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION:
1.
Clean all component parts as required.
2.
Inspect base assembly for broken or damaged
parts. Replace as required.
ASSEMBLY:
1.
Place lampholder (C) in position in retaining
strap (D).
2.
Using wrench, install bond nut (A) and new
lockwasher (B).
3.
Place preformed packing (E) in position on
lampholder (C).
Install base assembly in master control panel
