separator
harness
for electrical
power
at solenoid
connector.

l Set MASTER
BATTERY
switch
OFF.
First Technician
(Front
of Engine)
l Disconnect
ground
hop fuel supply
line from engine.
l Remove two probes and adapters
from fuel water
separator
(page 7-212).
l Install
1/8 inche pipe plugs in adapter
openings.
l Place suitable container
under
drain
line.
l Connect
ground
hop fuel supply
line to engine.
l Set multimeter
to measure
18 to 30 volts dc, or use STE/
ICE Test No. 89 (page 4-81).
l Disconnect
harness
from fuel water
separator
drain
solenoid.
l Connect
red probe of meter
to contact
A and black
probe
to contact
B of the harness
connector.
