Procedure
Start timing when CO2 cloud/spray
is first seen.
Stop timing when CO2 cloud/spray
starts to shrink.
Check that CO2 cloud/spray in hull
area is continuous and uniform with
no voids in upper and lower rows of
spray holes in left and right spray
tubes.
If cloud spray is not continuous and
uniform, check for punctures, leaks,
and clogging. Correct defects before
continuing with preventive mainte-
nance checks.
Check that CO2 cloud/spray from
left and right tubes are of equal
size.
If either cloud/spray is 1/3 size of
other, check for restricted tubes and
valves.
