On earlier model transmissions, use 9/16
inch socket to remove two screws and
lockwashers (D) securing bracket. Throw
lockwashers away.
4.
On later model transmissions, use 3/4 inch
socket and extension to remove two nuts (D)
securing bracket to transmission.
