case is darnaged.
Check if glass cover over meter scale is damaged.
Check if OHMS ADJ knob turns freely from
maximum
counterclockwise
to maximum
clockwise
position.
Check if sel-tor
switch turns through
all switch
positions. A “click” sound should be heard as selector
switch stops at each position.
Check if leads to meter pro~
are damaged.
Check if probe tips are missing, loose, or dirty.
Is multimeter damaged?
